Pathology is the most vibrant department of Government Thiruvarur medical college. The department is engaged in diagnostic work that primarily caters the Government Thiruvarur medical college. Our department offers comprehensive services in Histopathology, Cytology, Haematology, Blood bank, Immunohistochemistry, and clinical pathology. The department is comprised of team of young pathologists who are actively involved in Diagnostic work, Research, Undergraduate and ten courses of allied health sciences teaching programmes. Our blood bank provides a 24 hr services to our hospital by a dedicated team. We recently conducted P@TCON 23, CME ON ONCOPATHOLOGY, first of its kind in DELTA DISTRICTS in recent years.
