We department of radiology is well equipped with following investigation modalities

X-RAY

In xay imaging we are having 100ma,300ma,500ma xray unit along with fluoroscopy.We are having 30,60, 100ma mobile units also.This equipments are enriched with computed radiography.

Another one specialized unit 800ma along with digital radiograpthy system which is having the facility of picture achieving communication system.

We are doing plain xray in convention CR and DR techniques.Roughly 200 cases per day are viewed.

FLUROSCOPY

We are having Fluroscopy unit with tv monitoring system.

It is used for dynamic mode of barium and iodinated contrast procedure.

MAMMOGRAM

It is a screening tool for early breast malignancy our Mammogram unit is compatible with conventional as well as CR.

USG

Our USG having various facilities like colour Doppler and volume rendered studies It is various useful for abdomen and obstetrics studies.

CT

Our CT unit has 16 slice After low dose CT possible multiplanar reconstruction technique possible,volume rendered study and ANGIOGRAPHY technique are available in our system.

MRI

1.5 TESLA is used.it is better choice for cns and musculoskeletal system.And angiogram studies.

We are conducting two courses DRDT(Diploma in diagnostic radiology techniques) guided with king institute of paramedical sciences

It is 2year course.

Bsc RGIT under tamilnadu Dr.MGR University guidance.

It is 4 year course.

20 students per year are being joined for each courses.
