Of the many services we provide and procedures we do, of special mention are the paediatric age ENT surgeries including tonsillectomy (even for 5 year old children), difficult nasal and ear foreign body removal and long-standing rhinolith removal. Those children referred from various PHCs of this region and requiring cochlear implants are identified here at the earliest and referred to higher centers.

For adults, we perform endoscopic surgeries reaching up to skull base, early detection and intervention for benign and malignant tumors,  endoscopic tympanoplasty using various grafts. Cut-throat injuries are managed effectively. Lifesaving procedures like tracheostomies are done promptly and with utmost care.

Ours is a very student friendly department, and we encourage and help our students to take part in various intercollegiate quizzes and presentations apart from the regular seminars and symposiums held here.

We are hopeful of acquiring newer facilities for catering better services to the people of  Thiruvarur region.
